Guard Your Child's Destiny

You can give your child the best of everything, but if they're exposed to emotional abuse—even from family—it can harm them for life.
The enemy knows exactly what he's doing. He targets children because they're still developing—their identity, their worth, their understanding of love.
It can be difficult to navigate when the harm comes from family. There's pressure to keep the peace, to make excuses ("that's just how they are"), to prioritize adult feelings over a child's wellbeing.
But your child can't fully protect themselves. They're learning what treatment to accept, what they're worth, and how they deserve to be treated.
When a child experiences constant criticism, conditional affection, manipulation, or dismissiveness, those wounds don't just fade. They become lies the enemy uses to keep them from walking in their God-ordained purpose.
"You're not good enough."
"You're too much."
"Your feelings don't matter."
"Love has to be earned."
These aren't just harmful messages—they're spiritual attacks designed to steal their destiny.
God has a purpose for your child. A calling. A unique way they're meant to reflect His image and advance His kingdom.
Your job as a parent isn't just to provide—it's to protect their identity in Christ and remove obstacles to their spiritual growth.
It's not about sheltering them from all difficulty—it's about ensuring their foundation is safe so they can build genuine resilience and self-worth.
Sometimes that means setting boundaries with family members. Having hard conversations. Limiting contact with people who wound your child's spirit—even subtly.
The pressure to "keep the peace" or honor family ties is real. But your first allegiance is to steward the soul God entrusted to you.
Choose your child. Protect their heart. Guard their destiny.
They need to know they're worthy, loved unconditionally, and created with purpose—so nothing can stand in the way of them becoming everything God created them to be.
